Cadaver
If words hurt as much as sticks and stones, Cadaver would have thrashed you by now. With his sharp delivery aimed at weak MCs, back-stabbing females and language-loving hip-hop heads, Cadaver definitely ranks among the Twin Cities finest lyricists. Eatin' up mics isn't quite enough though, as Cadaver also takes on the dual role of producing much of his own work as well, including the majority of his solo records and half of the Enemy Entropist record "Lake of Fire." Cadaver serves as one-third of the group Enemy Entropist alongside fellow MC Optix and DJ/Producer Asei MT.
Cadaver was born in San Jose, CA, but moved to Austin, TX at a very young age. By the time he turned 6 he moved with his family to north Minneapolis, the place he has called home ever since. His first album, "Media Mutant," hit the scene in 2003. By releasing Media Mutant, Cadaver planted the seed for what has now become Brainstem Records and the Junction Family. Available now is Cadaver's follow-up album "Homework for Henchmen." Check out the mp3 below for a sampling of the new album, or go to the music page to listen to songs from both albums by Cadaver.
